We are excited to announce that Robert “Bob” Reaume has joined Doeren Mayhew Insurance Group as Managing Director of the Life Insurance Division.

As a CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and LIC (Life Insurance Counselor), Bob advises corporate clients on business succession planning, key person protection, and executive benefit planning strategies. He also advises high net-worth individuals on the tax advantages of life insurance, the various uses of life insurance in estate planning and charitable giving, as well as life insurance as an alternative asset.

Bob is very happy to be part of a well-respected insurance agency that has a successful partnership with Doeren Mayhew CPAs & Advisors, who have built a strong reputation in the Metro Detroit area.

“I appreciate all the support I have received to make this transition. I am also excited about Matt Kunz and John Frye’s commitment to continually support and invest in the agency’s first-class life, disability, and long-term care insurance division.”— Robert Reaume

We look forward to offering key advice, solid solutions, as well as technical and administrative support in this area for our clients and the clients of Doeren Mayhew CPAs & Advisors.

Prior to joining Doeren Mayhew Insurance Group, Bob owned his own agency and after twenty-five years in practice, he felt it was necessary to join a broader platform. Bob is also a REBC (Registered Employee Benefits Counselor), RHU (Registered Health Underwriter), and CPFA (Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor). Bob believes this continuing education has prepared him to better serve his clients. He is now delighted to be able to offer property and casualty products and likewise recommend Doeren Mayhew’s accounting and payroll services to his clients.

Bob graduated from Brother Rice High School in 1983 and attended John Carroll University earning a B.A. in Economics. Bob and Bridget reside in Beverly Hills, Michigan, and have seven children who attended Our Lady Queen of Martyrs School, Brother Rice, and Marian High School. Bob has served as the President of the Brother Rice Dad’s Club and has been active in assisting charities such as Camp Sancta Maria and PIME Missionaries. He is a member of the Detroit Athletic Club and an avid hunter and fisherman.
